Tech (Tamaki College) | Graphics w/ Mrs. Ferguson
This week at Tamaki College, LS2 had their last session of tech for the term. The year 7's we're begin to create their games on paper. Using the light box, and shape stencils to help us design the best for our planning. Mrs. Ferguson showed us to tinker-cad and we explored some of the tools on there. I am making a tic tac toe board, but instead of crossses and o's they are apples and banana's. We were even given a challenge to make our teacher using tinker cad and the shapes, etc.

HIIT
This week Thursday we had our last session of HIIT for this term in the Hall with Mr. Ogilvie coaching us. There were three exercise for groups of pairs to have both 3 sets each lasting for 30 seconds. My partner was Nyjah, and we first went to the push up on the matts. After the third round, we could start to feel the burn already. Next was the mountain climbers which we could either use the stage or the floor. This wasn't as bad, but was a workout for our legs and our arms. Finally it came to the real challenge. We had to use the wooden stick as a pull up bar and keep pulling ourselves up until the bell rang. Everyone had been working hard, and needed a break. To finish of this session of HIIT, everyone got into a circle and did some stretches; some including a partner. Our final challenge, was to 'Bring Sally up'. When said 'Bring sally down' we had to go into a low squat, and when said 'Bring Sally up' we had to get back up. This was a real burn in our thighs/legs but was worth seeing who could hold it up.
Interactive Maths Quiz
This is my interactive maths game, to practise a mix of multiplication and decimal problems in written form. There are only 5 questions, with either a correct or incorrect answer and a reaction page that i’d like you all to use to give me feedback on my quiz. Note that you can always use a hint, and remember to think about the question carefully. Peers testing my game, and playing others games have helped me bring mine to the next level by looking at my layout, font, colouring, and sizing. Feedback from my teacher was to look at unnecessary capitals in some of the equations. It’ll be obvious if you get it the answer wrong or right, so you can try again or continue to the next question. I really enjoyed creating my own character and making it move, using a GIF maker site. Enjoy!
