My Maths thinking
12 + 9 =21 12 + 9 =21

8+1 4 + 5
12 + 8 = 20 12 + 4 = 16
20 + 1 =21 16 + 5 = 12
Here I split the 9 into 8 and 1. Here I split the 9 into 4 and 5.
Then I added 12 and 8 to make 20. I then added the 4 and 12
20 plus 1 = 21 . together to make 16 then
added the 5 and it made 21.

Making sentences out of my spelling words
Spelling words Sentences
Usually - I’m usually not hungry in the morning.
Anyone - Does anyone want to be my friend?.
Quickly - Everyone quickly ran out of the class.
Sometimes - I sometimes hear strange noises.
Children - The children in my class are good.
Either - I would either eat or starve.
Because - I get free time because I was good.
Weather - The weather is for today is beautiful.
Heavy - These metal bars are heavy.
Build - I love to build forts.

Swimming
Today I went swimming with a couple of my classmates.We got 2 instructors named Brian and Lydia.Lydia took me Florence,Sakina and Charmaine I couldn’t wait to go swimming.First we held our breath under water.Next we then used swimming boards to practice kicking and swimming.We also held the boards in front of us and walked to the end of the pool and back. Then we tried lying down on our backs and float.After we had a race with the boards we had to hold them in front of us and swim to the end of the pool and come back 5 times.When it was almost time to go We had to try and show her anything but try not to touch the ground.I thought that was pretty hard because I couldn’t think of anything but swim or float.We then gave Lydia a high five and left to class.

- I would be able to keep myself warm in the woods because my eye also has the power of fire.
- I would never have to look over my shoulder because my eye can see whatever is behind me.

It all started off when me and my friends Sakina,Charmaine and Marie were playing soccer.But then all of a sudden I tried to act so cool and kick the ball so hard and try and get into the goal but the ball went over the goal and into the dark woods.We never went there but it was my brothers ball and I rather get the ball and don’t get in trouble then don’t get the ball and get in trouble.While we were going to get the ball we heard strange noises coming from ahead.The trees looked like they had faces.We stopped until we got to a house not just an ordinary house.It looked old it was quiet broken down.It looked like it was a abandoned house.”This is where the strang noises came from”Sakina said.We could hear heavy breathing inside.We opened the door and dust flew out.We walked in and the door slamed behind us.A voice said”Your ours”.I pulled the door knob but it was locked We screamed for help.But the voice said”The door is sound proof”.I looked at Marie her eyes turned all black.I looked at Charmaine the same thing happened to her but hers were all Red.I looked at Sakina and said”Not you”.I was expecting her eyes to turn a colour but it didn’t it looked like she was afriad too.She tried to break the wood on the windows but it didn’t work I tried to open the door but the door knob had broken off.My brothers ball rolled out of the dark part of the house.Sakina grabbed it.We both said”Let’s get out of this place”.Sakina looked at the door and said”Oh yeah the door knob isn’t here!”looking at me.”I got a plan”I said.”What is it?”said Sakina.”We both kick the door 5 times in a row as hard as we can”.”What if it doesn’t work?”Sakina said.”There is no if!do you wanna get out?”I said.”Fine”Sakina said.”On 3”.”1,2,3 go!”.The door had broken and we stumbled out the house and ran home and never came back again.

The Owls point of view (FW)
I sometimes hear the sound of crunching leaves and hide by getting on a higher branch.I sometimes get scared when the cold wind uses force and hits my soft feathers.I like being in the forest because I get a beautiful view of the night sky.Once the leaves fall off the tree I have to start looking for a new forest.”I will never forget what happened to my baby brother”.There were hunters searching for any kind of animals so they could start a pet shop or zoo.We saw them coming our way so we tried to quickly go on a higher branch but I guess we forgot our baby brother had something wrong with him cause we were to focused from not getting caught by the hunters but then our baby brother fell off the tree and was taken away from us.At night I see shadows but I know its just because i'm tired.But other then that I love my life as an Owl.
