Raz Kids

                     

Today for a an other, I read - Bone, the Healthy Monster. You can find it on Raz Kids if you have an account. This book is about a Monster named Bonk. After a candy shop opens up, Bonk keeps going there and buying more and more candy everyday. He began to get bigger and bigger. He went to see the dentist, the dentist said all the candy he is eating isn't good for him or his teeth but he still got more candy. He got even more bigger! He asks his two friends for help and how he can loose all the weight he gained from the unhealthy candy. They took him out to exercise, showed him all the healthy foods he could eat and some more tips about staying healthy. Bonk was able to do more things after loosing all the weight and was more happier. I enjoyed reading the book and I think you will too, you can read it too and I recommend it to you. 

Raz Kids

For an other must do I did Raz Kids. I read the book - Morty the Meany. It is about a boy named Morty and one day he is tolled off by his mother for not doing his chores but instead playing a game. His mother had turned off the monitor for his game and said to him that he was not able to use his computer. That had made Morty upset and angry so he left to school at once without saying good bye to his mother. Morty had a terrible day at school also. When he wasn't able to solve an equation he felt embarrassed and in shame after the teacher corrected him in front of all of the students. One of the students pointed to the stain on his shirt which made everyone burst into laughter. Morty got furious with the student and the words of something very rude came out his mouth. The teacher was disappointed with Morty's actions and told him to apologies immediately to the student. Then at lunch break he had realised he has not brung in his homework and he felt as though he was letting he class down because in his class, only 5 or less late assignments each week then they would be able to have a popcorn party. He was sitting alone at a picnic table when his two friends ask him to join them playing soccer. They said things that were suppose to be jokes but since Morty was made he took it the wrong way and said more rude things to them. When he got home he was very annoyed and ran straight up to his room. His little sister asked him if he wanted to play with her because he promised her. Morty was still upset so he pushed her out his room causing her to tumble out into the hall way and make her cry. He closed his door and ran back into his bed. Later, his mother came into the room and they had a talk about his anger and his mother told him ways he can get over it. He tried it and it worked he felt much better. This is a very good book and I recommend this, it also has  a few words for you to find out that you may not know.

Raz kids - Spare the Turkey

Today I went on Raz Kids and read the book -  Spare the Turkey. This book is about a boy who is tolled by his mother that he is having thanks giving with vegetarians. He was shocked, they weren't going to have turkey! How could their be no turkey on thanks giving? He was surprised, because when he arrived there was a table with a big bowl of salad on it, mash potatoes, yams and etc. He tried the vegetarian turkey that was there, but he thought it tasted nothing like turkey. Then when he tried the salad he loved it. He thought it tasted Delicious. On the way to their house, Darryl's mother told him he will be surprised when they arrive. At first he doubted it, but after trying the salad he agreed.

Today I went on Raz Kids and read the book - Eleventeen. This book is about a girl named Sarah who thought that being 10 was boring, although her 11th birthday was so close to coming up. She wanted to be a teen. She wrote down a T-Chart of what a teen does, and what an Evleven year old does. She seen the things were quite similar, she could earn money by babysitting her brother little brother Noah and earning money, then being able to spend it on what ever she liked. Then she thought of a great idea. Since being 16 is only 5 ages away from 11 she wanted to be Eleventeen! Like a teen by in what they do, but not actually a teen in age. I think this is a really good book and another recommended if you have a Raz Kids account. 

Raz Kids - How Glooskap Found Summer

Today I went on Raz Kids. I read the book - How Glooskap Found Summer.
This story is about how, Glooskap,A mighty leader travels far and long attempting to find the cause of why it was winter for his people. He found where the giant winter lived. He had no choice but to confront him. Glooskap entered giant winter wig wam/home. He was distracted by the beauty of inside the giant winters home, and was was sent to sleep for over 5 months because of winters magical spell he casted on him. Glooskap was told he could find women who were capable to defeat winter. To find the women, Glooskap had to go to south. There, he found beautiful Summer who helped Glooskap, defeat the gaint old man winter. I found this book very interesting, and recommended if you have a Raz Kids account.

Raz Kids - A Golden Tradegy

This book is called A Golden Tragedy retold by Robin king and illustrated by Joel Snyder.

This story is about a how a king wanted to please his daughter and keep her happy for he loved her dearly and he set off and was granted one of his wishes by a wizard. It was to make everything he touches into gold. The wizard told him he will soon regret his wish and soon, he did. When his daughter gave him a hug, she also turned into gold! He set off to the cottage that the wizard lived in and begged for another wish, but the only way he could have his wish granted was to take away ALL the gold and glitter that surrounded him. Then his wish will be reversed. So he did what he was told, and then the spell was reversed!

Raz Kids - Anansi and the Talking Watermelon

Today I read the book - Anansi and the Talking Watermelon 

on a reading site called Raz Kids. 

This book is about an ant named Anansi

who once got stuck in watermelon. He tricked his friends into thinking

the watermelon could talk, but it was just him inside of it. They went along to show the king but he wasn't impressed

because Anansi took a while to respond and insulted the king by calling him a fool for thinking he wouldn't respond, so   king bear roared and threw the watermelon.

The watermelon broke, and Anansi was free once again.
