Key Board Drills

L.I: To learn touch typing.

Today for a Daily 6 I decided to do a writing one. I did my Key Board Drills again. For this Daily 6 task I made a copy of a google doc that was like the level 1 template but jut had different words and punctuation. This google doc was linked on the LS1 Daily 6 level 2 writing site. It had letters, words or/and punctuation in a colum then a blank colum below so we could copy it but using the correct fingers.

Key Board Drills Level 1

'
L.I: To learn touch typing.
Today for a writing Daily 6 I decided to do my Key Board Drills. Since I did them all, I wanted to restart and do level 1 again. This task is to get me typing faster and have the ability to copy words, letters and different punctuation faster and use the proper fingers when doing that. For this Daily 6 task I made a copy of a google doc on our LS1 Daily 6 level 1 writing site. It had letters, words and punctuation on the first colum then a blank colum below it so we could copy what the writing had and use the correct fingers. I still find it quite hard so I think I do need more practise.

Key Board Drills Level 3

L.I: To learn touch typing.
This week for a daily 6 I did key board drills since I haven't done it in a long time. Key board drills helps you to learn how to type the right way or how to get you typing faster. To do this, we make a copy of a google doc which has a template. On the template there a a bunch of rows and in the first row, there would be a line of symbols and letters or just one of them, and then we have to try and copy that on the next row at the bottom of the top row but using the correct fingers. This time I did level 3. I still find it difficult so I think I will need much more practise.

Key Board Drills Level 2

Today for a writing Daily 6 I decided to do my Key Board Drills again, but this time on level 2. For this Daily 6 task I made a copy of a similar google doc but different words and punctuaction. This google doc was on the LS1 Daily 6 level 2 writing site. Like before it had letters, words and punctuation in a colum then a blank colum below so we could copy what the writing had using the correct fingers. I do still struggle doing this, but feel like I am slightly getting better at it. I am also still trying to get use to putting my fingers in the positions.

Key Board Drills Level 1

Today for a writing Daily 6 I decided to do my Key Board Drills on level 1. This task is to get me typing more quickly and being able to copy words, letters and different punctuation faster with using the correct fingers for it. For this Daily 6 task I made a copy of a google doc on our LS1 Daily 6 level 1 writing site. It had letters, words and punctuation in a colum then a blank colum below so we could copy what the writing had using the correct fingers. Although I do still struggle doing this, I'm sure more practise will get me better at it. I learnt the correct way of where you should put your fingers on a key board.
