LI: To collect materials needed to successfully complete our weekly superpower building missions with Nano Girl. Today in LS2, we worked together with our Year 4's to help them complete their first Summer Learning Journey activity and blog post. PBS are still at school this week so finding some of the materials we needed for our treasure hunt was easy. Our challenge is going to be able to find all the materials we need at home now. I found this activity exciting because and now I'm really looking forward to the rest of the activities and what is to come. Were you able to scavenger all of the supplies on the treasure hunt list?
Ciao Victoria,
ReplyDeleteI really liked reading your blog post today. I liked the fact that you have added a collage of the pictures of your group and equipments as the background of your screencastify. The well explained blurb and the screencastify makes the task more detailed. We collected all of the items except the plastic bottle because we couldn't find one. What would you do if you couldn't find the required items?
Keep up the great work!
Hi Sakshi! And thank you for the positive feedback. If I couldn't find the required items I'd do my best to find the closest substitute for it depending on it's use i.e: a spoon to hold something could be replaced with a Popsicle stick. What could you think of instead of a plastic bottle?
DeleteHey Haylee, Mayshar and Victoria
ReplyDeleteI’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer.
That’s awesome to see you school is getting the younger and older students together to help each other through the task. I see you’ve got lots of useful equipment there to help you out with the future tasks from Nanogirl.
We’ve had a sneak peek at the challenges Nanogirl has in store for you and they look really exciting, I’m looking forward to seeing how you guy’s tackle the challenges ahead.
It’d be great to make sure you included the name of everyone who was involved with your team so they get credit but also so we can give them feedback and praise on their bogs too.
Please share this with the rest of your team if you can and maybe ask if they’d like to register for the SLJ challenges if they haven't already.
Everyone who participates will receive a certificate and a digital badge for their blog and there are some great prizes up for grabs for our most active bloggers. It's also a lot of fun! You can register here.
Great stuff Team.
See you later in the comments.
Daniel
Hey Daniel, thanks for the feedback. I worked with Keira on this screen-castify and Sakina, Florence, Haylee, Mayshar, Mercy, and Matheus to collect the materials. I'm also looking forward to the activities as well and seeing you all making comments as we blog more, though I won't be further participating in the Summer Learning Journey over the holidays. Safe Commenting, Victoria.
