1: Wear a Sunhat going out to give your face shade.
2: Put on Sunscreen before going out somewhere you might be in a long period of time.
3. Use Sunglasses before going out anywhere in the sun.
4. Be aware of the time you're spending in the sun and try to stay in shady areas.
5. Clothe in protective things for your skin.
This was Activity 2 for Day 1 of Week 3 in the Summer Learning Journey programme. For this Activity I was to list five different ways that we can do this summer to be protected and safe from the sun. After writing down things from my prior knowledge, and using a provided site as well as researching to get different ways I complete listing them all.
Greetings Victoria,
ReplyDeleteThat's great you are still updated with the summer learning journey! One of my ideas were wear a sun hat because it's important to protect your face from getting burned! Which 3 ideas would you use that is very important to wear or use in summer or when its sunny?
Keep it up Victoria!
Malo E Lelei Victoria,
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see that you are focused with your SLJ activities and comments. The way that you've explained what to do on a summer day is great. I liked it when you said clothe in protective things for your skin. That is a great idea for others.
Nice Idea!
Kia ora Victoria!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia here, again, from the Kaikohekohe (Northland) cluster! It is awesome to see how much effort and enthusiasm you guys are putting into your blog posts, keep it up!
Well done for completing another activity! The Summer Learning Journey is coming to an end on Friday the 25th of January at 12pm, that’s tomorrow! Don’t forget that you can get extra points by posting meaningful, thoughtful and positive comments on other bloggers post!
You have done such a great job, you have not only listed 5 different ways to protect yourself, you have given the reasons why! It is really important to be aware of how long you are spending in the sun, quite often you are having so much fun you actually forget! You should always carry sunblock with you, just in case you need to re-apply.
Do you like spending your days in the sun? How long are you usually in the sun for?
Keep up the awesome work!
Cheers,
Georgia E
