Summer Learning Journey - Choosing A Destination

Canada

Image result for Canada

I would love to visit Canada because you can find extraordinary animals that aren’t usually found in other countries, for example 1 of their mammals pronghorn.  Also because in my opinion Canada can have the most beautifulest sightings at the right moments.

  2. Hi Victoria!

We are so, so sorry to have missed your blog. We didn't see your name on the registration sheet so didn't know that you were participating in our journey! We will promise to read and comment on all of your awesome blog posts!

I am actually from Canada so I'm particularly excited to see that you've chosen to visit my home country. It was some truly beautiful sights. I think that you'll really enjoy it!

You will certainly see a number of unusual animals, including the Pronghorn, or 'Antelope.' We have antelope in western Canada. I haven't ever seen any in real life as I am from the middle of Canada but I've certainly seen some amazing pictures of antelope running through our prairies. They are hard to spot as there are very few of them around.

Thanks for sharing your interesting facts!!

See you online over the next two weeks :)

  3. Hi Victoria,

I'm so glad that you've chosen to learn about Canada! I do think we have a very beautiful country. I also think that New Zealand is very very beautiful!!

Canada is very large and has many different regions so there is much to see and experience. We have huge, dense forests, vast prairies that take days to cross by car, and our cold cold Arctic regions. We also have mountainous areas in the east and in the west. So it is an interesting country! And, as you say, there are many animals found here that aren't found in other countries. Some of them are handsome, like the Pronghorn sheep, and some are very odd looking, like the moose. What an amazing world we live!

  4. Kia ora Victoria,

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey! We are all thrilled to have you on board and blogging with us over the summer. It looks like you have been very busy blogging, so I'm going to have some catching up to do which is awesome :-)

My name is Dan and I'm working alongside Rachel and Mark over the summer. I'm lucky enough to be able to read your blogs and I'll be leaving comments as I go. If you want to reply to my comments then please do! I'd love to know what you think, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

I think Canada is a wonderful choice for your learning journey. It is a beautiful country with a lot of stunning scenery and places to visit. Like New Zealand, they have such a diverse environment, so there will be plenty to keep you busy while you're there! What time of year would you like to visit do you think? While it is beautiful in the winter when it's snowing, it can also get veeeeeery cold!

I had never even heard of a Pronghorn horn before, so I'll have to do some research in order to keep up with you :-) At this rate I'm going to be learning all kinds of new and interesting things about Canada from you. Keep it up!

I'm looking forward to seeing what you blog about next Victoria, well done.

    Cheers,
    Dan.
