Activity 2: One Small Step for Man

For this activity we were looking at Neil Armstrong, an American astronaut and engineer. We had to imagine we were Neil Armstrong when he first stepped on the moon, and described how we felt. I made a short description since it's easier for me to be more descriptive.

  1. Hi Victoria, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I like the descriptive narrative about Neil Armstrong and walking on the moon... Would you REALLY like to walk on the moon - I'm not sure I would. assortment of food and drink that you picked - do you have a favourite? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!

  4. Hi Victoria,
I liked how you describe the texture of the moon and the light of the sun on your suit. I found it interesting that you said it felt like you had nothing on because of the low gravity. If you actually could, would you want to fly to the moon?
