Digital Footprint | Activity 3 - Summer Learning Journey

This is now the 3rd Activity from the Summer Learning Journey that I enjoyed completing. For this we had to make a copy of a footprint and type inside how to stay smart online. Using the cyber-smart skills that I have learnt at school, I used what I knew to write about being smart online and safe surfing. I was able to fit 5 things to know about online safety in the footprint.

I am also currently participating in the summer learning journey programme. I really liked how you have included lots of ideas and how you have structured your work nicely. I like how you stated, "Remember to sign out of your account" because I usually just close my laptop instead of signing out so I think that is a really helpful tip towards other people! Keep up the great work!

Here's a link to my blog to check out some of my SLJ posts too:

Your tips are also important ones to everyone who uses online devices. Yours ideas tells other lots, which gives them advice on what to do, just like AJ did. Did you enjoy this activity?

  4. Hi Victoria,
Well done on finishing this activity. Your tips on how to stay safe online are great. I think the best tip is not to share your personal information online because they could find out where you live, what your phone number is or your bank account details. Keep up the good work.
