Kiwi Can | Fun Week!

This week Wednesday was Fun week at Kiwi Can. Today we recapped what we did through the term with Ms. Peho and Ms. Page since Mr. Matt couldn't attend today's session. The class discussed the one theme which was respect and the 3 topics, respect for our school, respect for our community and respect for our environment. We rehearsed all the actions and words for the phrases and got in a circle to talk about what we enjoyed and liked most about Kiwi Can. I said I enjoyed the fun activities and energisers Kiwi Can set up for us to play. Then we all said games we liked so that we could play 3 of them depending on majority of votes. The games were Octopus, Invisible Touch and 10 second tag but we first played 10 second tag inside of the classroom. One of the leaders pointed to someone and that person had a certain amount of time to tag as many people as they could. If you were tagged then you were out and you had to sit out. The last two people were out of Akuhata and I but Akuhata won it. The next game we played was invisible touch in girls verse boys. We finally played the game that got the most votes out of class, Octopus. We played two rounds of Octopus and the first taggers were Fanini and Liletena, then Sakina and Mojtaba. Lastly we finished off the lesson with GKQ Master. Today was fun and exciting as it was Fun week at Kiwi Can.
