Find, Draw, Animate, Act | Vocabulary (Words)
L.I: To learn a bunch of new words.
This week for Reading we looked at a bunch of new words and their definition. We showed them by either acting them out, drawing it, animating it or finding it online. Kaitlyn, Florence, and I completed doing 18 words some from each of the 2 provided lists of vocabulary to help us. First we had a small discussion about the different types of words we know as in verb, adjective, noun, and etc. We made two videos under act, 4 animations under animate, 4 drawings under draw, and 8 images on find. We also had to explain what the word meant in a short description or other words with their meaning. This was fun discovering these new words and creating or finding sources about it.

Time Vocabulary | List of words connected to Time
L.I: To identify and understand related words to Time.
This week for Math we had to create a D.L.O about words associated and connected with Time. We had to include the words we have already talked about in Math already which is AM, PM, Hour, Second, Minute, Analog Time and Digital Time. I decided to create a presentation since it could fit multiple slides for separate words. For each word, I included the word (meaning/what it is), Its connection to time, How it's related to Math, and How we use it in class. In a few of them, I included a clip of saying the word. In total, I made a vocabulary list of 10 words.

Why Do Our Muscles Get Tired? | Flipgrid & Vocabulary List
L.I: To self monitor understanding of words and phrases.
L.I: To research the meaning of unknown words and phrases.
This week for reading we read a new text called Why Do Our Muscles Get Tired?. We had to read the text and find out the words we don't know, then write is on your group vocabulary list. We played a game where you can explain what the words means then you can get a point and also if you could say what a page of the text is about. We also had to make a flipgrid to talk about the text and three new words you learnt. We also learnt about how to find out what a word means by breaking it up and using related words to try and find it out. Afterwards we searched it up and looked to see if we were correct. I thought it was a good strategy and enjoyed doing it.
