The Pop-up Globe & Shakespeare's Plays
Two play actors Rita and Rubin, talked to us. We learnt about the pop-up globe and William Shakespeare's play. Just before their visit here, we did our own researching. Their plays use relevant clothing, mixed genders, and include audience. The original Globe in 1599, was burned during a performance. But it was rebuilt in 1614, but officially knocked down. Now there is a new pop-up globe, in Auckland - Ellerslie. The acts are tragedy or comedy, some including 4th wall. Some common plays are Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, or Macbeth. We really enjoyed their visit here, and their little act.
