L.I: To create DLO and find information about the Winter Olympics.
Today for inquiry, we had to create a google draw and answer 5 questions about the Winter Olympics. A map of where it is and where it is being held, How far is it away from New Zealand, How long does it go for, How many countries are competing, and How many disciplines are there. For this inquiry activity we had to work in groups, in my group I had Sulia, Kaitlyn and Hinemoa. We used our researching skills and found out the right information. We even put extra information, and wrote how many athletes are competing. With this DLO, we were also practising our layout, composition, text and colour to get better with how we make our DLO's.

ReplyDeleteI am impressed with your learning about the Winter Olympics. I have now learnt how far South Korea is from New Zealand. Did you learn anything new about the skeleton because that was the event I liked learning about.
