Activity 1: National Treasure


In this activity we learnt about Sophie Pascoe who is a competitive swimmer, and is said to be a national treasure. Which means someone who is special or important to said country. Inspired by that, we were to list 3 things we treasure. These three things are small but some of a the few things I treasure: Necklace, Badges, and a Hand-made craft.     Kia Ora Victoria,

    I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the students at Panmure Bridge School so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.

    Wow, you have shared three very precious things. I can tell you are very proud of your CARE awards from your school and you sound like an amazing ambassador for your school if you already have your bronze awards and you are working towards having all the silver awards. Your birdhouse looks very well crafted, I’m sure it would make some wild birds very happy someday soon. Have you found a spot in your garden where you could hang the birdhouse yet?

    I just wanted to let you know that this is the last day that all of the blog commenters are working for 2019! We are all taking some time to hang out with whanau and to celebrate the holidays. But everyone will be back on January 6th so keep blogging and we can read them when we get back!

    Hi Victoria,
    I liked how you said that you treasure your necklace because your friend gave it to you. I found it interesting that you treasure your CARE awards because of the values they represent, do you try to show those values everywhere?
