Duck Overboard

Text title: Duck Overboard
Author: (I am not sure who the official/original author is)
I think the main idea of this text is… How rubber bath toys spread around and stopping at the different places and were used to mark the great ocean currents and how valuable, amazing and interesting they were.
One example of a supporting detail is… How a storm washed containers off a ship and one of the container spilled its rubber bath toys into the sea causing this event to happen.
Another example of a supporting detail is… How the rubber bath toys were able to float long distances and go separate ways and some of them being able to make their way to land/ground and how the scientist and researches found it very valuable and useful.
It is clear that the main idea is How a storm caused a boat to wash off a container filled with rubber bath toys and the adventure of the rubber bath toys and how they traveled long distances and more.

Because A storm washed the containers off a ship and one of the container spilled its rubber bath toys into the sea causing this event to happen and how the rubber bath toys went separate ways and were able to float very long distances and and some of them being able to make their way to land/ground and how the scientist and researches found it very valuable and useful.
L.I: To identify the main ideas in a text.
I read a story called - Duck Overboard - and made a copy of a google doc that had a template of 3 that had - I think the main idea of the text is -, One example of supporting detail is -, Another example of supporting detail, and Its clear that the main idea is -.... Because -. I wrote what I thought the main Idea of the story was then wrote 2 examples of the supporting detail then official what I clearly thought the main idea was and the because.
I learnt to find the and put in the supporting detailed for your main idea and I learnt more about finding and thinking about the main idea and find the main idea in different ways.
