This was Activity 3 for Day 1 of Week 2 under the Summer Learning Journey. For me to complete this activity, I had to read 5 fish facts and decided which ones are true or false which I had to write in capitals next to the fact. I had to research these questions to find their answers. Not only telling which ones are true or false, I also provided a sentence of proof below the fact.

  1. Hi Victoria,

Thanks for sharing your blog post about your true/false facts about fishes. Nice thinking with your true and false answers. "WOW" it's great to see that you also had proof to show your evidence to tell us that you knew that it was either true/false. Have you ever seen a fish or eaten one?

    Nice One!

  2. Malo e lelei Victoria,

Well done on completing this activity on finding out whether if these fish facts are true or false. I like how you've written down notes under each fact. Did you have a look at the website that was hyperlinked to our SLJ activity page? Here is the link below:

I know that sometimes when we use Google to research about something as broad as 'fish', it could come up with different bits of information. However for this specific activity, the information can be retrieved from the above website! Can you double-check the answers and get back to me?

Looking forward to hearing back from you,
    Susie

  3. Hi Victoria,
Well done on finishing this activity. You've done really well on finding out if the facts are true or false. Do you know if the 226 year old Greenland shark is still alive? Also, I had no idea that the sharks were the only fish with eyelids. Keep up the good work.

  4. Hello Victoria,
Again, I really like how you did your fish facts. My favorite question is fish fact number 1. Because that is a fish fact I knew too. I also like how you explained what you have learned during this amazing activity.

What fish fact is your favorite?

    Joshua
