Kiwi Sport

This week Thursday, LS1 had kiwi sport in the hall with coach Kevin. First we played infinity tag. In this game, everyone is in and if you are tagged by someone you sit down but then if your tagger gets tagged they sit down and you can stand back up again. It was really fun but when I got tagged I kept shouting to people so they could get my tagger out so I could be back in. Next we each got a racket and shared 1 shuttle between two pairs. First, the pairs practised doing the back hand serve, so one pair would practise doing it 5 times then the other pair would do it 5 times as well then they both had a rally with each other. Then we sat back down and Kevin showed us how to forehand serve since we already have been over how to back hand serve. To forehand serve, this time your racket foot has to be behind instead of in front and you have to hold the shuttle out wards but as a cup. You have to hold the racket in forehand grip and drop the shuttle then swing your racket to hit it. You can't swing then drop, you have to drop then swing. We practised this with our buddies then had a rally with each other. Most of us agreed that forehand serve is more difficult then back hand serve. Then we versed other pairs using the badminton net. You could back hand serve, or fore hand serve, which ever you prefer. Then we headed off back to class. At badminton I learnt how to forehand serve.
